OPERATION WRITE HOME BE MY VALENTINE BLOGHOP
Welcome to the next stop on the Operation Write Home Be My Valentine Blog Hop. Hopefully you arrived here from Heather's blog. If you didn't, you can continue on from my blog and you can still complete the full circle of approx. 112 blogs for this tour.
Operation Write Home's mission is to support our nation’s armed forces by sending blank greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them. Operation Write Home will be collecting Valentine's Day cards to send to the troops until Jan. 7. Unfortunately, the deadline has passed to send Christmas cards but they are always accepting cards for birthday, Thinking of You, Anniversary, Sympathy and any other non-holiday occasion. Please go to http://operationwritehome.org/ for more info.
You can help Operation Write Home win $50, 000 for their cause from Joann Fabric and Craft Stores. Joann's is giving away $50, 000 to the charity that gets the most online votes by Dec. 4. Please go to http://www.joann.com/CraftForaCause to vote for OWH. You can vote once each day per email address.
The card I made for this hop uses the Stampin Up! sets I {heart} hearts and Baroque Motifs. I haven't used Baroque Motifs in a long time so it was nice to pull it out again. I used a retired stamp for the sentiment. I hope you enjoy my card and the rest of the hop.
Stamp Sets: I {heart} hearts, Baroque Motifs, More Great Greeting (retired)
Card Stock: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black
I hope you liked my card. Please visit Shirley at http://www.cardsbyshirleyg.blogspot.com/ to continue on the blog hop.
NEWS FLASH: There are broken links after Shirley's blog so when you leave her blog, please go to Becca's at http://becca-expressions.blogspot.com/.
When you leave Becca's, please go to Cheryl's at http://willowhouseathome.blogspot.com/.
If you get lost anywhere else along the way, you can go to the OWH blog at http://www.owhstarsandstamps.org/ for the complete list and links for each participant.
