VC ROCKS 2010 Blog Hop #4

Welcome to the next stop on the VC Rocks 2010 Blog Hop #4. This is our final hop for the year. It is hard to believe that vc_rocks is almost over for the year. vc_rocks is a Yahoo group dedicated to hosting a Stampin Up! Virtual Convention each summer. You don't need to be a demo to participate. New members will not be accepted until April 2011.

For my project, I used the Just Believe set from the 2010-11 IBC. I incorporated the latest Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge, SC294 and Color Combo Challenge, CC284.

Monthly Demo Swap card for July

I have finally made a new card to add to my blog. It is a card I made for a monthly Demo swap on Splitcoaststampers. It's a little late. It was due in July. Yikes.

The picture has some glare, so I will try to take a better picture later and repost it.

This is the first card I made with my Sweet Scoops set from the Summer Mini. The card base is made with Marina Mist. I stamped the sentiment on the Whisper White panel and then used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder in my Big Shot. I used the Scallop Trim Border on the Cherry Cobbler layer. For the ice cream cones, I stamped the cones in Early Espresso, stamped off once. I stamped one each of the ice cream tops in Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose, cut them out and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals.
