Welcome to the next stop on the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Lelia's blog ( If you did not and want to start from beginning, please go to

I want to thank all of the men and women in the armed forces for all the sacrifices they make to keep us the land of the free and home of the brave. You are truly the brave.

I made my card with Liberty Riley from Riley & Co. I colored him with Prisma colored pencils and blended it with baby oil. I used patriotric patterned paper and stamped a retired CTMH set for the background. I don't have a missing you sentiment at the momemt.

I hope you enjoyed the card and the rest of the blog hop. Please visit for the next stop on the tour.

VC Rocks 2010 Blog Hop 1

Welcome to the next stop on the first VC Rocks Blog Hop. Hopefully you arrived here from If not, you can go to the beginning of the tour at .

The theme for the first VC Rocks Blog Hop is retiring Stampin Up! colors or Summer Mini. I decided to use two of my favorite retiring colors, Cameo Coral and Ruby Red along with Handsome Hunter. I started with the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge SC280 but removed one of the layers. I used the Upsy Daisy and Friends 24-7 stamp sets, the Polka Dots embossing folder and Cameo Coral and Ruby Red ink. I hope you enjoy this card and the entire tour.
As I was uploading this card, we had an earthquake here in Los Angeles. Hopefully everyone is okay.
Thanks for stopping by. Now please hop on over to for the next stop on the tour.
