I can't wait to see all of your wonderful works of art! Have Fun & Happy Stamping!!!!!

I plan to send this card to Operation Write Home.  I am thankful for many things including the health of family.  I am also thankful to our Troops who fight for our freedom everyday so I send this to OWH in hopes that one of the Troops will use it.

Operation Write Home World Card Making Day Blog Hop 2012

Welcome to the Operation Write Home World Card Making Day Blog Hop.  For this hop each participant had to use a sketch to make their card and make it holiday or winter themed.  To find a list of all blogs participating in this hop, please visit the OWH blog here. It contains a InLinkz to each blog.

Operation Write Home (OWH) is an organization that provides our nation's armed forces with blank handmade greeting cards to write home on as well as "Anyhero" cards of gratitude to encourage them. If you are interested in making cards for this great cause, please visit the Operation Write Home webite here.

For my card I used OWH sketch #137 and new Riley stamp, Snow Globe Riley and Snowman. You can find all the past OWH sketches here.

Stamps:  Snow Globe Riley and Snowman (Riley and Company)
Cardstock:  Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Whisper White (SU!)
Misc:  Patterned Paper (Unknown source), Snowflake brads, Snowflake embossing folder

Circus Riley

I finally played with my Riley Circus stamps that I order last month. This one is Juggling Riley. I made it for my Inkyfunstampers Yahoo Swap group. The theme was Latest Purchase. I used Stampin Up Daffodil Delight, Real Read, Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock with Basic Grey Le Cirque patterned paper (The yellow with black dots) and Recollections patterned paper (The Red Striped). I colored with my Prisma pencils and baby oil.

Writing Riley

Here is another card I made with one of my new Riley stamps. This one is Writing Riley. The "hello" sentiment is from the SU Tiny Teacup single stamp. I cut apart the teacup and the sentiment and made them unmounted stamps. I used Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Whisper White cardstock, Greenhouse Gala DSP and Basic Black Ink. I colored the image in with my Prisma colored pencils and blended with baby oil.
