Here is another card I made with one of my new Riley stamps. This one is Writing Riley. The "hello" sentiment is from the SU Tiny Teacup single stamp. I cut apart the teacup and the sentiment and made them unmounted stamps. I used Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Whisper White cardstock, Greenhouse Gala DSP and Basic Black Ink. I colored the image in with my Prisma colored pencils and blended with baby oil.

Splitcoaststampers 300th Sketch Challenge

I look at the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge every week even though I rarely have time to play along. I decided since this past week was their 300th sketch and they have lots of great prizes to give away, that I had better squeeze in the time to participate. I am seriously trying to find the time to participate in a few challenges each week and post them to my blog. We will see.
Here is the card I made. Since it's October, I decided to use my Wicked Cool stamp set from Stampin Up! I used the Wicked DSP, Rich Razzleberry, Crazy Cajun, Old Olive and Basic Black card stock along with Basic Black ink.
I hope you like it. Maybe I will be back later today or tomorrow to do this weeks SCS Color Challenge.

Monthly Demo Swap card for July

I have finally made a new card to add to my blog. It is a card I made for a monthly Demo swap on Splitcoaststampers. It's a little late. It was due in July. Yikes.
The picture has some glare, so I will try to take a better picture later and repost it.
This is the first card I made with my Sweet Scoops set from the Summer Mini. The card base is made with Marina Mist. I stamped the sentiment on the Whisper White panel and then used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder in my Big Shot. I used the Scallop Trim Border on the Cherry Cobbler layer. For the ice cream cones, I stamped the cones in Early Espresso, stamped off once. I stamped one each of the ice cream tops in Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie and Regal Rose, cut them out and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals.
