Mermaid Card

This a swap card I made for my Inyfunstampers Yahoo group. The theme was mermaids. I used the new Stampin Up In Color, Wisteria Wonder for my card base. I also used Lucky Limade, Melon Mambo and Wisper White cardstock. I colored the mermaid in with Prisma pencils and used baby oil to blend. The mermaid is from Queen Kat's designs and the sentiment is from Penny Black.

Circus Riley

I finally played with my Riley Circus stamps that I order last month. This one is Juggling Riley. I made it for my Inkyfunstampers Yahoo Swap group. The theme was Latest Purchase. I used Stampin Up Daffodil Delight, Real Read, Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock with Basic Grey Le Cirque patterned paper (The yellow with black dots) and Recollections patterned paper (The Red Striped). I colored with my Prisma pencils and baby oil.

Operation Write Home Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop

Welcome to the next stop on the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop. I'm posting a little early since I will be at a soccer tournament all weekend. You should have arrived here from Lisa's blog at http://papergrace.blogspot.com/. If not, you can start here from my blog and make your way around to all the blogs on the tour. If you prefer to start from the beginning, you may go to http://www.owhstarsandstamps.org/.

The theme for this blog hop is Missing You. I used The Open Sea stamp set and Nautical Expedition DSP from the current Stampin Up! Summer Mini. I used Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Grey, Early Expresso and Very Vanilla SU! card stock and Not quite Navy and Basic Black ink. I did not have a Missing You stamp, so I used a Thinking of You stamp from Hero Arts.

I hope you like my card. To continue on the blog, please visit Susan at her blog at http://www.salondarte.blogspot.com/

VC ROCKS MAY 2011 BLOG HOP

Welcome to the next stop on the VC Rocks May 2011 Blog Hop. The theme for this month is Color My World. Hopefully you arrived here from Marisol's blog at http://atouchofsol.blogspot.com/. If not, you can start from the beginning of the hop at the vc rocks blog at http://vcrocks.blogspot.com.

One of the requirements for this months theme is to color in the image with either markers, pencils or Water Color Crayons. I don't have very many current SU! image that I can color but I finally decided on the flower from the Friends 24-7 set.

I used the Splitcoaststamper sketch this week, SC322. I colored the image in with Melon Mambo and Old Olive markers. I used Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango cardstock since it coordinates with Beyond the Garden DSP from the summer mini.
